This place has the best walking trails I've been on. They hold public events here and are in construction to build this park to be a outstanding place.
The trail consists of a small paved loop on top of the hill as well as a longer gravel trail which circles the lower portion. I see lots of squirrel and white tail deer. Great place to walk.
Came here to watch the solar eclipse of 2017, good spot for it. Very friendly people from town were there. No problems with the location. Not sure about formal parking, but plenty of street parking nearby in town. Cute place, just your average park.
Peaceful, low traffic park with terrific views. Great to meet the family for lunches and walk the trails.
My wife and I stopped by there to view the eclipse on the way back home from vacation. It was a lovely little park and we will forever cherish that special moment we had together. Great place to walk!
